Due to its wide oversized body width the Tabor V-Neck T-shirts are most flattering when sewn in a light-weight fluid knit fabric with at least 25% stretch such as rayon bamboo or soy knits, while the sweaters are best with sweater knits that also have at least 25% stretch, however do not have a high lycra content (6% or above) or have too much stretch recovery. This is to allow the wide neckband to perform at its finest without puckering or gathering

A pretty pullover sweater with button details at the neck, long shaped cuffs and comfortable deep pockets.

Fabric suggestions:

Main fabric: French terry, sweatshirt, or any medium weight knit material with a bit of stretch.

Contrast fabric: (so many options!) Jersey, t-shirt material, lightweight french terry, rib knit, ponte roma, double knit. It’s also a great opportunity to stash bust and use up some bits left over from previous projects! You can use the same material as the main fabric, however, the cuffs will have a closer fit.

Fabric requirements (for 1.5m / 60″ fabric):

Ava – Cara (31″ – 35″ bust / see size chart image)
Main: 1.5m (1.64 yards)
Contrast 0.6m (0.66 yards)

**BURNSIDE BIBS- SEW HOUSE SEVEN**

the Burnside Bibs are not your traditional work overalls. Yes they are comfortable and easy to wear, yet they are much more stylish and feminine than traditional versions. The straps that transition to narrower ties offer many options for how they can be tied. And…like so many sewing patterns, we as sewists are able to influence how casual or dressed up they become simply by fabric choice. Choose a fabric with some drape such as Tencel and pair them with a silk blouse and some heels for a dressed up look. Use a more traditional denim or linen and wear them with a tee shirt, sneakers or clogs and take a more casual approach.

**Options & Features:**

**The Burnside Bibs have two front bib options – a scooped neck or the traditional straight front. Both bibs work with either version #1 or version #2.**

**Version #1 is a more fitted back pant with back waist darts and an invisible side zipper opening, however, the ties still form a small amount of gathers at the back waist.**

Version #2 is a looser back pant that slips on over your hips and does not have a closure to sew. This version is fuller and more gathered in the back. Use your hip measurement to determine your size for version #2.

Both versions also feature a front waistband, curved front patch pockets, optional back pockets, and cross-back straps that transition to narrower ties that thread through back waist belt loops forming back waist gathers. Lisa the Unicorn quilt pattern uses pre-cut 2.5” fabric strips and conventional patchwork piecing techniques to make these magical unicorn blocks for two quilt sizes and a floor pillow.

Most of the project is sewn similar to Elizabeth’s other patterns, with simple straight and diagonal seams. The horn is made using a single template-cut piece that is sewn using a simple slice and insert method.

The pattern includes instructions for pillow cover 26 x 26″, a small quilt 62 x 62″ and a large quilt 90 x 90″.
