Occasionally the perfect wardrobe staple comes up and one of those times is here! After making 3 pairs and planning many more, the Emerson crop pants have proven time and time again to be a go to piece of clothing. These really are the perfect all-round cropped pants and right on trend too.
The Emerson is a pull-on crop pant or Summer short with an elasticised back and flattering front waistband. Sewn down pleats and side. Choose between the mid-rise that sits just below the natural waist; or the high rise that sits over the belly button.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Basic Sewing essentials – pins, scissors, marking tools such as chalk or dressmakers’ carbon
1.4-1.75 mtr of fabric and matching thread for the Shorts version
2.3- 2.7 mtr of fabric and matching thread for the Cropped pant version
Recommended fabrics include – any light to medium weight woven fabric such as Linen, Cotton & cotton blends, Rayon/Viscose, Chambray and Twill.
