Young fashionista Sewists are going to LOVE making their very own customised gathered skirt, a great fun project to start them designing and perfect for strutting their stuff over the summer break.
WHO’S IT FOR
Our holiday sewing club is designed for creative kids, aged from 7 upwards, who love making and doing. It’s fine if they have never sewn before, All sessions are fully supervised and machines have safety speed controls
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Placing a pattern on fabric
Pinning and Scissor Cutting skills
Creating a French seam
Creating an elastic casing
Feeding through elastic and securing
Hemming and finishing techniques
Sewing on a machine as well as hand stitching
