February’s Bag Of The Month

The Friday bagineer workshops have been super popular, yet we realise not everyone has availability on a Friday.

So we decided to add in this weekend bag workshop so you can join us. The Noodlehead Firefly Tote, is our bagineers Bag of The Month (BOTM).

An easy-to-use tote or project bag! The tote size is perfect for a day trip or a work bag, where the project size is great for hand sewing, knitting or crochet projects, or even as a lunch bag! Both sizes feature a fun drawstring closure and an interior slip pocket. A handy front pocket with an additional zippered pocket makes this tote super functional!

kill Level: Beginner who can thread a sewing machine and has made a couple of projects independantly

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• Basic sewing kit- pins, bag clips, scissors
• .60cm fabric for outer depending on the size you are making such as canvas, waxed cotton, denim
• 1m fabric for lining – quilting cottons are ideal.
• 1 m of accent – quilting cottons are ideal.
• 1.5m of woven interface
• .50cm of fleece weight interfacing
• X1 zipper 8″
• 2m cord or ribbon
• Co-ordinating thread

Optional extras available if required –X4 rivets  bag feet, webbing handles, handmade label.

We have a full range of fabrics and haberdashery if required and happy to help put a coordinating selection together with you to make a truly unique bag.
