Join us for a wonderful 2 day weekend workshop of sewing and making an easy go to throw on casual style jacket. We have chosen to fabulous patterns that are both stylish and versatile. Both Jackets are unlined and easy to construct.

The Ilford Jacket :

The Ilford Jacket is a versatile style that’s modular design makes for a pattern that is simple, yet impactful. It features drop shoulders and comes with two sleeve options: a placketed sleeve with cuff, and an easy to sew boxy sleeve for a more relaxed vibe.

Size range: Bust 32”-54”  Finished Garment size:44”-68”

The Yanaka Jacket :

A cross between a blazer and a cardigan, this chic, unlined jacket is semifitted, slightly cropped, and includes several unique features.

Sizing: 0 – 20 (approx. UK 8 – 20) with A/B, C and D cups

Garment finished size 35”-51”

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
– Basic sewing kit- Scissors, pins, etc.
– Depending which pattern and size you will need approx. 1.8-2.1m for the Yanaka and 1.6-2.5m of fabric, matching thread
Suggested fabrics – Wool, Wool blends, Corduroy, Linen, Denim, Jacquard. We have a full range of fabrics at the studio and happy to advise.
