Sew With Mother.
Over the past year it’s been exceptionally difficult to see OR spend time with our loved ones. This year restrictions are still likely to still be in place by Motherign Sunday, so why not spend some special time with your mum, Daughter, Aunt, Niece or your bestie friend over zoom and make this fabulous stripy cushion as part of out pillow talk Season.
Perfect for any age group and sewing experience. Great to include the little ones could help out placing the stripes into place and working the foot pedal.
If you want extra special time, we can allocate breakout rooms so you can spend your time chatting and catching up, whilst working on your project with regular check-ins from Amanda to provide support and guidance on your make.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
22-25 stripes of coordinating fabrics approx.2.5-inch-wide X 20 Inch Long– Jelly roll stripes are ideal for this if using then 12 stripes will be enough.
A lining fabric 20 X 20, a FQ will be fine or calico.
Backing for the cushion p X 2 Fat Quarters
16 X 16 pillow insert pad.
Sewing kit– machine, pins , rule , marking tool, scissors etc
