Make ‘n’ Mend Alteration Workshop.
June 8, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm£75.00
In a world of fast fashion and a disposable culture, it’s time to play our part and rejuvenate new life into forgotten and discarded pieces that you just can’t bear to part with. Whether it’s a bargain charity shop find to be refashioned, a coat that needs a new lining or a dress that holds special memories. Items that are too big, too small, or just need a face lift into this decade, we got it covered in this one-day workshop.
Not only are we bringing you a brand-new workshop, but this will be headed by the expert pattern designer, sewing author, costume designer and producer of the Great British Sewing Bee, Claire-Louise Hardy.
CL will teach and guide you through the transformation your tired old garments into fabulous personalised and well-fitted couture. So what are you waiting for, rummage through those wardrobes and sew new life into those old garments.
