BACK TO SCHOOL PENCIL CASE
The summer holidays are nearly over and thoughts of returning to school are getting close. So to get organised we thought it would be fun to get them geared up by making a cool funky pencil case ready to start the new term.
WHO’S IT FOR
Our holiday sewing club is designed for creative kids, aged from 7 upwards, who love making and doing. It’s fine if they have never sewn before, All sessions are fully supervised and machines have safety speed controls
WHAT THEY WILL LEARN
Placing a pattern on fabric
Pinning and Scissor Cutting skills
Creating neat seams
Inserting a zip
Hemming and finishing techniques
Sewing on a machine as well as hand stitching
WHAT THEY WILL NEED
Nothing – Just energy and enthusiasm xx
WHAT’S INCLUDED
All required Fabrics and haberdashery
Full use of studio sewing machines
Lots of tea and juice and yes of course yummy treat!
