Get to Know Your Over-locker
June 27, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm£70.00
Over-lockers (also known as Serger’s) aren’t as scary as they seem and by the end of this workshop you will have tamed your beast… we promise!
Learn how to maximise the most out of your machine, neaten seam edges to give a truly professional finish, construct speedy stretchy/jersey fabrics, finish off seam allowances neatly and do lots of other cool things like rolled hems.
As we are all adapting to new situations, we are working hard to offer solutions to our workshop provision so that you can enjoy all the benefits and fun of attending a workshop, while keeping us all as safe as possible. In doing so we are excited to now offer the added bonus of demonstrations been shown through digital tablets/ I-pads- we have invested in four tablets if attendees wish to use or bring their own – you will just need the zoom app installed. By using this method we will be able to maintain full social distancing through out the workshop, reducing the need for the group to huddle around a demonstration. The other benefit is that attendees will then be able to access the recorded session for future reference.

How to thread the Over-locker and understand each thread purpose
