Easter Quilting Challenge- Are You In?

You loved the end of year challenge so we’re back with an Eggstra Special Easter Challenge for you! The “Appropriately” named to sum up the rough times we’ve been through, is the gorgeous Storm At Sea, which looks totally amazing in a cushion, runner or quilt for your enjoyment throughout all year.

THE RATIONAL

To stretch our skills and make a fabulous project to take us into the warmer months and FREEDOM!  The sessions will enable us to support each sewcially and mentally.

THE DESIGN

The Storm at Sea quilt pattern makes for an exciting quilt—full of movement—all due to the juxtaposition of square and rectangular blocks. Your eyes try to tell you there’s curved piecing, but there’s not a curved seam in the quilt, not anywhere! Simple enough for the confident beginner quilter.

The design is based on two different styled blocks – generally this is designed to be assembled using the paper pieced method for speed and accuracy.

There is a download colouring in sheet for you to play around with your colour combinations – plus a host of inspiration images.

Hope you can join us.

Sessions will be held online each Friday and every other Sunday 10- 1pm  bring your Gin! I will take you through the cutting, and paper piecing assembly.
