This year’s coat making is the fabulous Vogue 8884 which depending on the view and fabric used takes on the look of a pea or trench coat. Features of this include a collar and collar band, shoulder pads, yoke two-piece sleeve. There is optional detailing with welt pockets, sleeve tabs belt loops and tie belt all topped with topstitching

Techniques involved will include sewing a straight seam, setting sleeves, attaching a collar and inserting a lining.

This workshop will run over 6 consecutive Monday evenings …NB you will be required to complete some homework consisting of straight seam sewing in between sessions.
