Flip an egg …here we are again, not sure if this is confessional site or a blog spot! I’m sat here at 4 am …one of those nights when you just cant sleep! I find myself scrolling through the social media pages of Facebook and Instagram. As the majority of my feeds consists primarily of sewing related pages, they provide a continual flow of inspiration, knowledge and general fun. There are some seriously talented and creative sewers out there that i just love to follow.
Although I feel I don’t sew that much for myself these days, I began to take a shifty down my google photo-box – everything gets automatically uploaded there and holy cow there’s some crap and a New Years resolution in the offing to delete some! To my surprise I’ve actually not done too bad for makes and not all get photographed these days either.
This years trending hashtags on IG is #2017bestnine. The idea is that you shoe the post that got the most likes or comments ..? not necessarily your favorite makes booooo so i decided to do my own version…to prove to myself I do sew for me so although a long post my lovelies its a visual one!
The other thing that struck me was the journey Simon and me have taken in 2017…he doesn’t just make the tea! – so with out a do here is the Sewcial best of 2017.
Category 1 – MY MAKES
